The conference was mainly devoted to the preservation of monuments of engineering art.
Its main topics included the differences between static and dynamic expositions of technical relics and the issue of conservation and exhibiting in the open air. As a part of the conference, a study visit to a historic but still active locomotive shed in Wolsztyn took place (with a special train ride on Szreniawa–Wolsztyn route). The National Museum in Szczecin was represented by Tomasz Budzan, PhD.
